Keep your website, run the shop on DiveDesk
Your current site stays exactly as it is. DiveDesk runs students, classes, waivers, the register and the customer portal behind it — linked from your menu or on book.yourshop.com.

Plenty of shops like the website they have. You do not have to move it. DiveDesk gives you a set of pages at yourshop.divedesk.io — course pages with enrollment, the class calendar, the gear shop, waivers and the customer portal — and everything behind them: rosters, training records, certifications, POS, inventory, finance. Your site links to those pages and keeps doing everything else.
What lives where
- Your website: the home page, about, blog, photos, SEO — unchanged.
- DiveDesk pages: /courses (each course with a price and an Enroll button), /calendar (upcoming classes with open spots), /gear/shop (the shop, if you list products), /portal (where students sign in, see what is next and upload paperwork).
- DiveDesk admin: everything staff touch. Contacts, In Training, class day, certifications, waivers, POS Register, inventory, finance, QuickBooks.
Set it up
- Change the temporary password, set your time zone and sales tax, connect Stripe. The setup checklist on the dashboard walks these in order.
- Add the courses you teach from Course Templates, fix the prices, tick Active. A course is not on your DiveDesk pages until it is Active.
- Post your next classes so the calendar has something on it.
- On your website, add two menu links: "Book a class" to https://yourshop.divedesk.io/courses and "Student login" to https://yourshop.divedesk.io/portal. Change any existing "Book now" button to the course page it belongs to — every course has a Copy link button in the admin.
- Optional: put those pages on your own name. Under Settings → Custom Domain save book.yourshop.com, add the one CNAME record it shows you, verify. Then the links on your site read book.yourshop.com/courses instead. See Use your own domain.
Students who never touch the website
Walk-ins and phone bookings work the same way as before, just in DiveDesk. Ring them up on the POS Register or add them to a class roster from Contacts; the confirmation email, waiver link and portal invitation go out on their own. The website is one door in, not the only one.
