Commission payouts

Commission is computed per order from the staff member it was sold by and their rate. Commission Payouts shows the running total earned, what has been paid out, and what is owed now, then records each payout. It is payroll data — admin and manager only.

Give someone a rate

1. Open the Staff list in the admin and edit the person’s login.
2. Set Commission rate as a percent. Making someone an instructor sets 10% automatically if no rate is set.
3. Only staff with a rate above zero appear on the payouts page.

Pay out

1. Open Money → Commission Payouts. Under Owed now each row shows name, role, rate, last paid date, Earned, Paid and the amount owed.
2. Leave the amount box blank to pay the full amount owed, or type a smaller amount for a partial payout.
3. Press Pay out. The row updates and the payout appears under Payout history with the date and who processed it.

What staff see

Anyone with a commission rate gets a “Your Commission” card at the top of their Dashboard: their rate, This month, Lifetime earned, Paid out and Currently owed. Staff without a rate never see the card.

• Earned only counts paid orders. A cancelled or refunded order’s commission goes to zero, so “owed” can drop after a refund.
• A payout record is created by the Pay out button and should not be hand-entered under Sales & Trips → Commission Payouts.
