Unsubscribes and who can’t be reached
The two opt-out levels, the stat tiles, and why “In training — call them” needs a phone call.

Unsubscribes lists everyone who asked off your email — via the unsubscribe link, a reply, or a staff member flagging their profile. There are two levels. “Marketing only” still gets course email (class dates, paperwork, receipts). “All email” gets nothing at all.
The stat tiles
- Unsubscribed — everyone on the list. Click to show all.
- All email — contacts with Do not email (anything) set. Nothing reaches them.
- Marketing only — contacts with No marketing email set. Newsletters, promos and class-announcement blasts skip them; course email still goes.
- In training — call them — the rows that need action. Each tile filters the table; the counts always reflect the full list.
What “can’t be reached” means for training
A full opt-out on someone mid-course is the case that needs staff attention. They will not receive class dates, the waiver and medical request, the eLearning invite or their signing link. The IN TRAINING badge on a row shows their phone number so you can call. The page flags only contacts with an open, in-training enrollment — someone who paid but hasn’t started, or who went inactive, is not a false alarm here.
Change a contact’s setting
- Click the name to open their contact page, then follow the link to their full Contacts record.
- Tick or untick No marketing email or Do not email (anything) and save. Setting either also sets the matching text-message flag.
- The Stopped column shows which level applies; Unsubscribed shows when, in your shop’s time zone; IP address is blank when staff set the flag rather than the customer clicking a link.
