Business phone: Quo texting and caller ID
Connect Quo so customer texts land on their profile, staff reply from the Texts page, and incoming calls show the caller’s name.

Business Phone connects Quo (formerly OpenPhone) so client texts land on their contact profile, staff can reply from here, and an incoming call shows the caller’s name. It needs the Business phone + texting inbox add-on ($19/mo); without it the page shows the add-on panel. Admin only — the key on this page can send texts billed to the shop.
Connection
- No business line yet? Click Sign up for Quo →. Then in Quo create an API key under Settings → API.
- Paste it into Quo API key and click Save. Once saved the page says Connected — API key ending …, and your Quo numbers load.
- Under Send texts from pick your Quo number (a dropdown once the numbers load). It is your Quo number, not a staff cell — this is what clients see when the shop texts them.
- Optionally set a Marketing number — a second line for bulk sends. Replies to either line still land on the client’s profile.
Receiving texts
Inbound texts have to be proved to have come from Quo, so this needs a webhook and its signing key. Click Set this up for me and DiveDesk creates the webhook in your Quo account and saves the key. If Quo does not hand back a readable key, the page says so — copy the webhook URL with Copy, paste it into Quo yourself, and paste the signing key into Webhook signing key.
Caller ID
Quo shows a name on an incoming call only for numbers in its own contact book, so DiveDesk pushes your contacts up to it. New and edited contacts sync automatically; click Sync contacts to Quo once to send everyone already in the system. If the result says run it again to finish the rest, do.
Conversations live on the Texts page and on each contact’s profile. Disconnect clears the key and both numbers.
